County waste round-up in Sierra Madre or Arcadia (Santa Anita racetrack) this Saturday, August 20th. Batteries, light bulbs, paint & solvents, expired or unused medicines, sharps containers, lawn & garden products, drain cleaner, used motor oil and filters, cell phones, TVs, DVD and video players, and many more items accepted; if in doubt, take it and ask! You don't even need to get out of your car...just drive up and they do the rest.
