What's Cookin'? Saint Mark's Cookbook!

Dear Saint Mark’s Parish Members,

Can you believe Saint Mark’s School is 50 years old? Saint Mark’s Church will be joining with Saint Mark’s School to celebrate this significant milestone in magnificent ways all year, but we need your help right now to get started on a very special project. A commemorative cookbook will be printed and sold in honor of the school’s fifty years. The cookbook will be a professionally bound collection of family favorite recipes gathered from both school and church. We want the cookbook to represent your families’ traditions and tastes, and to be useful to Saint Mark’s families like yours, who need to get meals on the table day after day.

Please use the link below to submit recipes (maximum 3 per family) to the Saint Mark’s School 50th Anniversary Cookbook. It’s easy to do! Once online, you will find prompts to enter a contributor’s name, along with the login and password. The site will prompt you to enter recipe ingredients and instructions, as well as notes. Please be sure to include a note explaining why your recipe is a family favorite, or where you got the recipe.

We may edit recipes for clarity or redundancy, and contact you if we have questions before going to print. Please help this project to be ready this fall by submitting recipes as soon as possible! The submission deadline is Friday, July 30th, 2010.

To submit your family’s recipe(s), please go online to:

If you don’t have access to a computer, you can bring your recipes to church on Sunday, July 25th and we will help you enter them.

We look forward to collecting your recipes. If you have any questions, call the Church Office at 798-6747. Thank you!
